About Susan Wagner

Susan Lynne Wagner is an American financial executive and one of the co-founders of BlackRock, an American multinational investment management corporation. She served there in the capacities of vice chairman and chief operating officer.

Susan Lynne Wagner was named to two lists of powerful women in 2011: "Most Powerful Women in New York 2011" and "50 Most Powerful Women in Business (2011)." But she retired as Vice Chairman of BlackRock after serving in that role from 2006 to 2012. Susan also served as a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and Global Operating Committee. Ms. Wagner previously served as BlackRock’s Chief Operating Officer and as Head of Corporate Strategy. She serves as a member of the board of trustees of Wellesley College. Ms. Wagner also currently serves as a director of Color Health (privately held) and Samsara (privately held).
